Webmaster Program Description:

Due to the accelerated pace of change in the technologies and practices in this field, the Merrimack College Webmaster Certification curriculum is constantly evaluated and updated.

Program courses are categorized into two groups: the core requirements and the electives. Through certification individuals can earn a professional designation and acquire skills that can be applied immediately in the marketplace.

To meet the needs of aspiring and current Webmasters, the Merrimack College Webmaster Certification Program offers three individual certification designations. They are designed to meet the training and certification guidelines established by the World Organization of Webmasters.

The three certificate designations are:

To qualify for a certificate, candidates must successfully complete the specified courses of instruction.

To accommodate individual interests, experience levels and accelerated learning preferences, students can customize their own program within these curriculum requirements. Some advanced courses involve either prerequisite course work or proven ability in the subject area.
