Michael Goldstein

Instructor for Active Server Page programming and E-Commerce development. For the past five years, Michael has been the President of Animal 57 Web Productions, an internet solutions company. He specializes in database programming and content management development. He has won many prestigious awards such as the MIMIC award and has been written up in the Boston Globe several times. Michael graduated from the University of Massachusetts and is currently a Law student at the Massachusetts School of law.


Jim Grenier

Jim has over 25 years experience in broad-based graphic design and production including print, packaging, Web, CD-ROM, direct marketing, advertising and collateral, signage, show graphics, presentations, and interface design. As principal of Renegade Studios in Salisbury, MA, he has served clients from many industries: from small independent start-ups to Fortune 500 giants. In addition to expert cross-platform skills in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe ImageReady, Adobe Illustrator, Quark Xpress, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Dreamweaver MX, he also works in Flash MX, and 20+ other computer applications. Jim is known for his precise technical abilities, his award-winning creativity, high-end photo-realistic illustration, web design, writing, or graphic design. Jim is a Web-pioneer for he developed some of the earliest color indexes for Web-born photography, as well as developed several interface models now nearly standard on the Web. Jim attended the University of Maine, Orono, ME, and Butera School of Art, Boston, MA. He is also a consultant to advertising agencies, designers, printers and web developers throughout New England.


Arlyn Hubbell

Arlyn is the author of "Understanding Web Development," the text used for both WM102 and WM106. She is one of the founding developers of the Webmaster Certificate Program at Merrimack College. Her professional background includes Wall Street and academia, both of which allowed her to follow and participate in the growth of the Internet since 1979. During the past twelve years she has taught a variety of Internet and Web-related classes at Bates College, MIT and UMass Lowell as well as Merrimack College.


Brian Stephens

Brian Stephens is an independent consultant specializing in computer security and information technology. Formerly the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Webnoize, Inc., Brian has appeared on TechTV and engineered data collection tools used in P2P network research. Results from the research have been cited by CNN, USA Today, and the Wall Street Journal. Prior to Webnoize, Brian was the Senior Security Consultant for BusinessEdge Solutions and earlier a Backline Network Support Engineer for Sun Microsystems. While at Sun, Brian served as a lead member of Sun's Enterprise Service's CCC Security Team and co-authored two books: Administrating Web Servers, Security, and Maintenance and World Organization of Webmasters Web Server Training Course, both published by Prentice Hall. Security articles of his have appeared in New Hampshire High-Tech News and in publications on-line. Brian holds a BS in Computer Science from the Univeristy of Massachusetts, Amherst.


Dr. Gerard Verschuuren

Dr. Gerard Verschuuren is a Microsoft Certified Professional specialized in VB, VBA, and VB.NET. He is the author of many textbooks and has more than 20 years of experience in teaching at colleges and corporations. He holds master's degrees in Biology and in Philosophy, plus a Doctorate in the Philosophy of Science.


Leor Zolman

Leor Zolman has been involved in compiler design, application development, systems administration and IT education for 30 years, spanning the CP/M, UNIX and Windows operating systems. Leor has written numerous magazine articles and programming courses, and is the author "BDS C", the first C language development system targeted exclusively for personal computers, published in 1979.
